1 Day – Manicure & UV Gel Polish

This class includes home study, please allow at least a week or 10 hours between booking and attendance, for study time. After a re-cap on your home study you will learn how to safely manicure and prepare the natural nail for UV Gel polish. We will unlock the secrets of this popular nail service and you will then apply gel polish in both a single colour and in the French application. Your 1 day course includes:

• Home study notes.
• Health, safety and sanitisation.
• Natural nail anatomy.
• Manicure procedure.
• Gel Polish application in both French and block colour
• Removal of gel polish from one hand and re-application
• Aftercare.

You will receive:

• Structured step-by-step training to build your skills thoroughly.
• Home study notes and classroom documentation
• Certification allowing insurance on successful completion

Morning
In the morning, you will be taught the care and preparation of the natural nail and we will unlock the secrets of soak of UV Gel Polish. You will apply a block colour to one of your model’s hands and a French application to the other.
Discover the unlimited colour and style opportunities that will satisfy your clients every wish.
Afternoon
After lunch you will cover the safe removal of gel polish from one hand and the re-application in your models chosen finish. Once completed, your model is free to leave with a nice new set of nails.
Students will then sit a short assessment, for their accredited certification.

You will require a Professional UV Gel kit and a Desk kit.
